Privacy
Effective November 3, 2026
This policy covers gettealight.com and the Tealight waitlist. The Tealight app will have its own policy when it launches, and we'll post it here.
Tealight is made by Make Way LLC (MakeWay Studio), a Minnesota company. Questions or requests go to hello@gettealight.com.
The short version
- We collect only what you type into the waitlist form.
- This site has no ads, no analytics scripts, no tracking pixels and no cookies.
- We never sell your information or share it with advertisers.
- You can ask us to show you or delete everything we hold about you, at any time.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist we store:
- your email address
- your age range
- the kind of phone you use, if you tell us
- whether you'd like to test early versions
- a short tag showing which link brought you here, if the link had one (for example, a post we shared)
- the date you signed up
If you tick the box that lets us save them, we also store your answers about what tends to slip in your day, which apps you've tried, and any note you write. If you don't tick it, those answers are thrown away before anything is saved.
If you tell us you're under 18, we don't save anything.
We don't store your IP address, your device details or your location. Cloudflare, our hosting provider, handles network information such as IP addresses to deliver this site and protect it from attacks.
How we use it
- To email you when the beta opens, and about testing if you asked to test early.
- To decide what to build and which features matter most.
- To choose beta testers.
We don't use your information for advertising, and we don't use it to train AI models.
Who we share it with
Nobody, except the companies that run the service for us:
- Cloudflare, which hosts this site and the database that stores the waitlist.
When we start sending email, we'll add our email provider to this list before the first message goes out.
Consumer health data privacy policy
Some US states, including Washington and Nevada, treat information about your health more broadly than you might expect. Signing up for an app made for ADHD and autistic adults, or telling us what slips in your day, may count as consumer health data under those laws. We treat it that way for everyone.
- What we collect: the fact that you joined the Tealight waitlist and, only with your consent, your answers about daily-life difficulties, apps you've tried, and your note.
- Where it comes from: only from you, through the form.
- Why: to decide what to build and to invite beta testers.
- Who receives it: only Cloudflare, as our host. We have no affiliates that receive it.
- Selling: we never sell it.
Your choices and rights
Email hello@gettealight.com from the address you signed up with to:
- see everything we hold about you
- delete it, including from backups
- withdraw consent for your optional answers, which deletes them
- leave the waitlist
We'll respond within 45 days. Deleted information is removed from our backups within 30 days. If we turn down a request, you can appeal by replying to our answer, and we'll respond to the appeal within 45 days. Washington residents whose appeal is denied can contact the Washington State Attorney General.
Keeping it safe
The waitlist is stored in a database that only we can reach. Connections to this site are encrypted. If information about you were ever exposed, we'd tell you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.
Children
Tealight is for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use information you've already given us, we'll email you first.
